"It is a unique niche of accounting that is interesting and always changing."
"The Public Housing department had aspects that stuck out compared to those at other firms, such as the ability to travel, the opportunity to meet different people, the chance to attend seminars, and to assist PHA clients who can use the help."
"I felt that it would be a great environment for me, where I could learn and develop while gaining experience in the accounting field."
"I knew it was important to the firm to encourage young accounting professionals to get their CPA license, and the support system is really there; the internal courses offered by the Asher Business Academy and the fact that the firm has an audit department make it easy to move forward."
"The atmosphere and energy of Asher was wonderful! How many accounting firms play golf in the office?"
"I chose this job because I thought the staff I met with were able to provide the professionalism and resources of a large company, while maintaining a personal atmosphere and environment. I like the people I work with."
"This position seemed different then your typical 'accountant' type, who sits at a desk all day… I liked that we get to go out and get our hands dirty."
"At my interview, I felt that Asher PHA Finance would take the time to invest in each of its employees to help develop their career and maximize their potential. And this sounds cheesy, but my practice manager really does want to see me succeed, all my managers do."
